1971 Chevrolet C-10 Description

Mostly restored classic. New body parts: all chrome molding, rear bumper, rocker panels, cab corners. No other metal had rust all repainted with a metallic blue (LZ paint code). Interior was painted to match as well. Interior remains to be done, as shown by pictures.
Engine began as an original 402 BBC with right at 100k miles on the truck when restoration began. All the machine work was performed by a machine shop with a reputation for quality and precison. It was bored .030 over and align bored, and square decked. The original crank shaft was turned down .010. The head were replaced with BRAND NEW EQ heads with larger intake valves providing much better performance. The pistons are Keith Black hypereutectic 9:1. The cam is a Comp Cam smooth idle RV performance grind. The intake is a NEW Edelbrock Air Gap with a NEW Holley 750 CFM vacuum secondary carb. A high output HEI ignition give the spark. Blue anodized Moroso valve covers and air filter. The water pump, oil pump, fuel pump, starter, alternator and battery were all replaced with new as well. There is an abundance of power with a slight push of the accelerator. The Turbo 400 transmission was rebuilt as well and mated with a B&M 2500 stall converter. The exhaust is Hedman Headers and 2 1/4 inch duals with an H pipe going into Flowmasters.
The box has new Rhino lining. The tires are Yokohama.
There is not much left to make this into a very nice driver or show truck. Everything mechanical and body work is DONE. Finish it the way you prefer and save. The AC is hooked up and complete, but, has not been charged with freon since restoration.
This truck is not perfect as you can see in the pictures, but, it runs strong, drives great and turns heads wherever it goes!
