1930 Chevrolet Coupe Barn Find
1930 Chevrolet AD -- Description
I purchased this vehicle a few years ago with the intentions of getting it road worthy but other projects became more important, and it is time to move this piece down the road. The motor does run and holds good oil pressure (compared to a Model T or Model A, this car moves). I have driven the Chevrolet once and the vehicle shifts fine but the brakes are bad.
This 1930 Chevrolet was part of a collection from 1961 until 2012. The interior appears to be original, and the motor is free and runs strong. The body has been brush painted years ago but is solid. Driver door opens free, but the passenger door is stuck but opens (I don't believe it is an issue with the wood as much as it is an issue with the aftermarket door handle on the door). The starter has been removed (it needs to be rebuilt) and the stock Chevrolet plated ignition cable has been removed (I do have it). The sheet metal is solid. The tires are shot and hold enough air to roll around. The rare tail light and bumpertette bracket is broken. The radiator shell is bent (someone tried to remove the Chevrolet emblem with a screwdriver prior to my purchase).
I can store the vehicle indoors free for as long as needed until transportation can be arranged. The vehicle will not be able to be driven onto a trailer. Full, cleared payment or pickup is due 10 days after the end of the sale. The vehicle does have a clean title. You are buying AS-Is
