1979 Chevrolet Corvette #'s Match Description

Seven Hills Motorcars is very proud to offer this numbers matching 1979 Corvette in outstanding original condition and with a 4-Speed manual transmission and only 67,805 original miles. This Corvette looks fantastic, runs great, and is an excellent driver. The car is totally solid with nice lines and no rust issues. The Frost Blue (28) over Dark Blue Leather (292) is a very rare and beautiful color combination that looks great on the car. Frost Blue is a stunning color. It is a very light blue that almost looks white in some light; this car gets complements and comments on the color everywhere it goes. This is also the correct an original color scheme, verified by the codes on the trim tag, which is pictured below.

The car is absolutely loaded with highly describable options as one can see in the extensive list of RPO codes above such as the Gymkhana High Performance Transmission, N90 Aluminum wheels, tilt wheel, power windows, power locks, sport mirrors, air conditioning, and most importantly the color scheme. The low original mileage is verified not only by the condition of the car, but also the clear Ohio title, pictured below, showing the mileage as "Actual." Please peruse all of the photos, video, list of numbers, and other information below to get a true sense of how nice, clean, and original this Corvette really is.

We purchased this Corvette from a gentleman in Columbus, OH. He said he was the second owner of the car and purchased it in 1988. There is a copy of the previous title that verifies that he purchased the car on April 28, 1988.

This Corvette is completely number matching. Every part we checked on the car was correct and original, even down to all the windows, carburetor, starter, and alternator. We have run the numbers on literally hundreds of Corvettes and there are very few that are as correct as this one. There are photos below of the VIN stamp on the engine and transmission, engine assembly date, and transmission assembly date.

As a side note, this Corvette is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our Corvettes come from owners who expect their car to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the Corvette, just give us a call.
