1960 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 Custom Description

Truck comes complete with engine as seen, 1958 348 "W" engine seems to be all original down to thecarburetor. all castings and number date to 1958. Kinda rare engine as it is the same as the "409"
Drove the truck yesterday (Jan. 26 2018) ran good, although there are NO brakestransmission shifted well (granny low gear), clutch needed hydraulic fluid. Has a brake/clutch shared master cylinder. Tires hold air for a few days.

1960 Chevy Apache C-10, was a "Cab Chasis" from factory, a flat bed was removed from it and now a long bed fleet side was just set on it and was NOT installed. Bed wood is rotten but all parts and tail gate is there.
Aired up the tires and seem to be holding. located the bed on the mounts and took pictures as it should be.

PO installed a 1958 Chevy 348 "W" 250 hp engine, fires right up, drove it around yesterday. No Brakes!!!!!! Truck will need to be gone through completely for safety!!! Etc!
Glass looks pretty good for the age, no cracks.
Transmission, it is a SM420 very low 1st. gear, shifted fine.

Arizona truck, but expect some rust in the usual places. I have not removed the sill plates to check under them. It will need rocker work.
Dash is uncut and GREAT condition!
There was rear brake parts in the bed, there are rear brake issues. There is a Bendix HydroVac unit under the bed, not sure if it is working. There are rebuilding kits out there. Gives you power brakes.
Brake pedal does go to the FLOOR,
I have restored a few of these and know them well, so ask questions and I can gave you the details. ASK before bidding.
Tires seem to be hold air, 6 lug 15" rims 3 hub caps.
High/low Headlights work great along with the cab light and parking lights and horn, and the cigarette lighter!
Clear Arizona title, and keys
I WILL take $3,000, if you offer less expect a no at this point.
This is a project though it will not take much to get it moving safely it will take more to make it a reliable road runner.
