1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS Restomod Description

The badge on the cowl induction hood says it best. "LS1, Sick and Twisted". This car is the perfect combination of a classic SS Camaro, paired with modern technology. It's good looking whether you are standing still or rolling down the boulevard. It's a pleasure to drive anywhere near or far. And it's awesome fast when you want it to be.
This car looks pretty much like a stock SS Camaro. It even has the factory correct Le Mans blue paint. Pretty much, except for those custom wheels, and a few, more subtle, lighting features. The paint, along with the chrome and trim, are in excellent condition with great body lines and panel fit. The front bumper is chrome, feeding into the white Camaro stripe down the side, and the rear bumper has been painted body color for a nice clean look out back. LED Lighting has been added in several places like the turn signals set into the headlight glass, discreet side marker lights, and center brake lights set into the rear spoiler. There are red white and blue Camaro emblems on the front fenders, SS emblems in the front stripes and below the rear spoiler, and that suggestive LS1 badge on the hood. Massive 19-inch wheels and tires in the back are matched by 18s in the front to give this car an aggressive stance and let you know it means business.
Open the door and check out the beautiful interior in this car. The white upholstery, with black carpets, headliner, and dash, look super clean and classy. Pleated power bucket seats up front are comfortable for cruising the boulevard or cruising cross country. The center console with cup holders offers handy storage and is even removable for easy cleaning. There is a contoured Grant steering wheel that feels good in your hands, and a pool ball style shift knob for stirring around the manual gearbox. Some of the modern technology mentioned finds its way into the dash with aftermarket gauges mounted in the factory locations that look great and keep accurate tabs on the critical functions. Aftermarket controls for the heating and ventilation systems look like they could be factory if you didn't know better. An iPod compatible stereo with dual head units driving speakers in the back shelf add the final touches to this sweet interior.
Let's talk about the "sick and twisted" part of this car now. GM did a great job redesigning the legendary 5.7L V-8 for dramatically more power and torque with the LS1. This car takes it even a bit further in the power department, and also dresses it up nicely for cruise ins and car shows. It breathes in better through a Spectre air filter, and breathes out better through long tube headers. An air topper and valve covers, along with the brake booster and inner fender wells are painted to match the body and look great. There is an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans up front to keep things cool, even in traffic. Power flows back through a 6-speed manual gearbox to those 325/30ZR19 tires in the rear. The fronts are 275/35/ZR18s connected to the steering wheel through a coil over suspension with control arms pivoting on heim joints for control, adjustability and toughness.
This perfect combination of classic SS Camaro and modern technology might be a perfect addition to your garage. Call or come on down and check it out.
