Cool FAST 1967 El Camino-race or street a sweet ride 383 ci stroker-NO RESERVE!
1967 Chevrolet El Camino Description
Up for sale is my personal car -a 1967 Chevy El Camino. It has the best of everything, 4bolt main 350, stroked & bored to 383ci w/ Scat stroker crank & rods, probe 10.5:1 forged pistons, 202/160 heads, comp cams roller cam & lifters, Edelbrock carb/manifold, MSD complete ignition(box, dist.,coil)hooked to a full manual super Hi-pro TH400( 2800 stall super heavy duty custom built converter) coupled to a ford 9" full spool w/ 4:33 gears, Hotchkis rear control arms and H/D sway bar. No clearance issues with the tires. This little beauty runs consistent low-mid12's on foot brake and hooks up excellent! It has about 10-12 runs on it total. It has manual disc brakes frt/11" drum rear with a line lock. It was originally a manual trans car, so it has all clutch pieces in it, or will come with it. I have a ton of spare parts that go with it also, including the original back glass if you want to go back to stock. Would take about a weekend to make this street legal, lights are hooked up except rears. If desire, I can remove part of or the entire rollcage and repair the floor holes correctly at NO charge, but the sale would have to be completed before I would do that .Needs block sanded and paint to make it really POP!! We are closing down the drag race end of our team to concentrate on Land Speed Racing, so this little cruiser has to go! I'm sure I haven't coverd everything, but the long and short of it is when I built this car, it was for ME and I didn't cheap-out on anything, as my original intent was to make it a parts runner for my shop, but those plans changed and then changed AGAIN :( May consider selling as a 'roller' minus engine and related parts for $5000, but full payment required BEFORE I would remove engine!! Thanks for looking! Remember- Spring and DRAG racing/ summer cruising are just around the corner!! :)
