1973 Chevrolet Nova Base Description

Please Read Carefully !!
1973 Nova, lady owned since 1982, has not been driven in the winter since 82. The car has been under a car port since 2001 and not driven or started till last month. It is all original except the wheels and dual exhaust, great car to restore or hot rod........read on.
MOTORoriginal 350 2 bbl, totally stock, it had been sitting since 2001, I put new gas and filters in it, new wires, cap, points, coil, battery. It fired up but the carb needs some work, run, no noises of any kind but it does have a miss, may be a stuck valve from sitting, may be the carb, I am not sure may just need driven. I will let the next person determine that.
TRANSMISSIONstock turbo 350, goes in and out of gear good, I took it down the road and it shifts all 3 gears.
Stock 10 bolt rear end, does have multi leaf springs
BODYBody overall is really decent, it does have a few rust spots the worst is behind the drivers side door ( see pictures ) a small dent in the front fender where is was backed into in storage ( see picture ) other than the few rust spots body is solid.Inside the doors and the bottom of the doors are good, same with the trunk lid. The doors shut nice, trim around the windows is very nice, bumpers are straight, rear bumper has some peeling, front bumper has holes where they drilled the fog lights. Look at the pictures, paint is faded from sitting, it does have some scratches on the passenger side where it was keyed at one time but they are not deep just in the paint.
INTERIORAll original interior, front seat has some rips and will need recovered, rear seat is good, headliner is nice, door panels and rear panels are in very good shape, does need a need door strap on passenger side ( broken ) Could use carpet ( faded ) Dash has one crack in the pad.
FLOORS, FRAME AND TRUNKAll are very nice, I see no holes in the floors or trunk, it is a solid underside, like I said at first has not been in the snow since 82.
WHEELSWheels are peeling pretty bad, tires hold air but have been sitting since 2001, it will need new ones
EXHAUST AND BRAKESExhaust is the old $ 100 Cherry Bomb in front of the wheels, 80's for sure, no big holes sounds OK, Drum brakes all the way around stops good, good petal for sitting so long.
OVERALLGreat project or restoration car, all the lights work, wipers work, heater works, even the seat belt light and buzzer work on the dash. Other than the wheels and exhaust, fog lights it is original. It is the original color ( Medium Orange Metallic ) it was repainted in 82, like I said paint is faded. All the glass is good, trim is nice, everything is there. I have driven this up and down the road just to make sure it shifts and stops, I would recommend a trailer because it has only had a mile put on it since 01 if you plan to pick it up, just till you checked all the lines, etc.
This is a 45 year old car, I may miss a ding or scratch but I have done my best to be honest
Check my feedback, I have been on Ebay since 2001 and have sold many cars
