1967 Chevrolet Malibu. Rebuilt 350 8-Cylinder Gasoline Engine with 65,000 Miles. Automatic Transmission. RWD. Body and Frame:2013 GM Torch Red covers all original metal panels with excellent gaps. The fit & finish on this car is amazing. Original uncut body featuring original floors and trunk & and all other interior metal. Being a California car, there is no rust or rot and this '67 is accident free. The paint has been cut and polished, lays flat with no orange peel. As good as it appears in pictures, It looks even better in person! All new body mounts and bushings mount to a very nice and clean under-carriage. The suspension has been rebuilt with new coils and KYB self-adjusting shocks on all for corners. All of the ball joints & control arm bushings, brakes and emergency brake cables have been replaced. The bright work on the Chevelle is in great condition as is all of the original glass.Engine & Mechanical:A Vortec 350 engine has been rebuilt using all of the best internal and external components. Aluminum heads and full roller valve train bumped by a nice profile racing cam. Externally, a high rise aluminum intake manifold is topped by a Carter AFB competition carburetor. A full billet aluminum pulley system spins a polished fan, alternator & water pump. A remote reservoir-mini power steering pump has been installed along with a high-torque mini starter. A Mallory Billet distributor sends power thru new large diameter wires firing new plugs. Ceramic coated headers send gasses thru large dual exhaust w/ H pipe and Turbo mufflers to a bumper exit. The TH-350 transmission has been rebuilt and it has strong positive shifts. The transmission lines have been replaced as well as the fuel pump. The driveshaft has been balanced and the original GM 10 bolt rear spins 16x9 American Racing rims, 16x8 up front. Nearly new Starfire tires have been mounted and balanced. This Malibu was ordered with pwr disk front disk brakes. The entire engine has been fitted with the best components and hardware and the whole engine compartment looks very nice. The engine starts easy, doesn't smoke and has very good performance.Interior:The interior is in great condition and really looks beautiful. The interior is fully functional and in original configuration with the addition of triple gauges to monitor the vitals. The seals and felts are all new and the black color against the Torch Red paint really makes a great visual impression. AM/FM Radio. This Malibu was ordered with the factory defroster option!. THIS WAS THE AD USED WHEN I PURCHASED THE CAR. THE CAR WILL NEED ATTENTION TO THE TRANSMISSION. IT HAS A SMALL LEAK THAT I THINK IS COMING FROM THE BELL HOUSING. CAR DOES RUN AND DRIVE GREAT WITH A LITTLE LEAK WHEN IT GETS HOT.
