1965 Chevrolet C-10 Description

Here's a good one . A 1965 Chevt C-10 shortbed fleetside big back window . Made in Fremont .Originally sold and spent most of it's life in WEE, CA. Has the original plate frames from MalloryChevrolet in Weed. Maybe a good advertising item for someones new perfectly legal Weed store.They do get some weather up in Weed so this truck has more rust than usual for a Ca. truck.It has rust in the front fenders,cab rockers,floor by the door and on the slanted part going up to the firewall,the inner fenders,the bed above the wheels. Has dents on passenger door and drivers side bed. The good is the hood,roof,doors not bad,floor under the seat,and the tailgate.According to the motor number it has a 73-84 292 Straight six . From the newer looking paint on the motor and different year block I assume it was rebuilt at some point but I have info or paperwork on that. It does run pretty goo, starts with the first touch of the key when it's warm. Runs,shifts,drives,stops,lights all work I think,wipers,speedo,heater all work good for an old beater truck.Dash is only filed out a little on thr knob holes. Heater controls are out but it works with a toggle switch. It has a heavy piece of metal in the bed but its only tack welded in a few spots.all the glass including the panaramic rear window is goo, mirrors good,doors close very eas, hood woks easy.Has a decent set of aluminum wheels the other center cap is in the cab.The sale includes the original right front fender, the other blue fende, and two better inner fenders all needing some work.Has original key, base model with one sun visor and one door lock.Truck was a daily driver up til about a year ago. Rat Rod you could take to the drive in the day you get it or perfect for your T.V. show and unlimited budget build.I know you're tired of reserves that never get met so I'm starting this at $999 with no reserve and really hoping there's more than one person who wants it. Truck has the original Ca. black plates. Also I am a experienced shipper just off I-5 and I usually have a good ride for the I-80 corridor at least as far as Ohio. I have some other ones also 60-66
