1969 Chevrolet Camaro Description

For sale here is my 69 Chevrolet Camaro with a Muncie 4 Speed and 3:08 12 Bolt Posi Rearend.

The original Daytona Yellow paint with a black vinyl top was still on it when I bought it in 1978.

It was built in the Van Nuys, California plant on February 1st 1969. It has the factory original interior, with the seat belts and a console with gauges.

It had an "over the counter" LS6 in it when I bought it, with the pink rods, Nitrate coated Forged Steel Crankshaft, 4 Bolt Main Block, Open Chamber Square Port Heads, and a Low Rise Aluminum Intake.

It has an early 1970s 454 in it, a stock Muncie 4 speed that shifts perfectly and a 12 bolt with an Eaton 3 series posi unit. It has slapper bars on it too.

Ijust installed a Center Force clutch in it and rebuilt the Muncie 4 Speed.

The blurry picture is me driving it back from a day of racing at Fremont Drag Strip back in the day and the burnout is the start of a 1200 footer, I had to replace both rear tires after that burner. The engine, transmission, 12 bolt rearend and all four wheels and tires have all been replaced after that picture was taken. The entire drive train was replaced except the J50 factory installed front power disc brakes with the OEM 2 piece rotors.

This car has been rode hard and put away wet for over 40 years that I've owned it. I'm selling it to pay medical bills; otherwise I'd keep it forever.

Email me if you have any questions regarding anything about its current condition. The factory tachometer and gauges still work and are all intact.

This car is painted bright fire engine red, not faded out reddish-orange as it appears to have in these pictures. This old Camaro is reliable enough to drive anywhere in the U.S.A. It has a clear California title/pink slip and is currently registered in California. This is a daily beater/driver not a trailer queen.
