Before I tell you about the car, I want to tell a little about myself and why we are selling the car. We manufacture interior parts for various makes and models for our main business. What I do is buy different cars fix them up make the interior parts and use the cars to fit them. When we don’t need the cars anymore we them sell them, We mass produce the custom and sell them. This year is a Caprice few years ago was a 69 Chevelle and years before that it has all been Mustangs. I know that it is difficult buying a car through Ebay, but have confidence. I have been restoring cars for a while now and I personally drive them to make sure they are what I say they are. I don’t buy cars cheap and turn around and sell them for a profit, this is my passion and I take pride in my work. Thank you and enjoy.
What we have is a 1966 Chevy Caprice, it was a solid car to begin. I installed a new AMD trunk pan and the pan under the back seat old ones had rust. The only body damage were the passenger back taillight (one picture shows the fixed area) and the driver side behind the rear tire.
I know the guy I bought the car from and he is the one that rebuilt the BBC 396 engine it is not numbers matching however it is an original BBC car. It has a Turbo 400 transmission and a 12 bolt rear end. I put a fairly new Holly Avenger 670 Carburetor with electric choke starts up nice every time. Has a new A/C components, and heater core. New headers and exhaust just factory stuff but still sounds nice. The paint is about 8 months old and the tires are also new, rims are 17” Sinister rims. All new brakes, including wheel cylinders, shoes and components also new vacuum power master cylinder.
The interior has new headliner, carpet, door panels, quarter trim panels and rear package tray. New weather stripping and window felt all the windows roll up and down all chrome trim is there.
The only trim missing is the rear trunk deck trim and the rocker trim. It also need the trunk deck tension spring for the trunk to stay open on its own. It does not have power steering although the pump is there, will probably need shocks soon.
You don’t see a lot of Caprices around you see a lot of Impala’s and Biscayne’s. If you want to be different and look good then this is the car for you offered at NO Reserve!! Starting bid is $11,000. I have it listed on the local ad but if I get a bid, I will take off the ad and let it ride at auction. Feel free to message me with any questions. Thank you.
