Restored near original 1960 Corvette in the manufacturer’s color of Honduras Maroon with White Coves. 1 of only 544 produced in this color combination. Car was purchased in 2010 from world renowned ProTeam Corvettes dealership. They graded it a #2 and it has been pampered & garaged ever since. Only driven about 3,000 miles since extensive restoration that was completed by professionals. Documented restoration and maintenance receipts included.
Mechanical updates include a new 350 CI 290 HP Chevrolet small block with correct Corvette finned aluminum value covers. Holley 670 carburetor on Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold. New electronic ignition and new exhaust system. New radius rod bushings with correct rebound straps. New aluminum radiator, rebuilt starter and generator. Rebuilt Muncie M-20 four speed transmission with correct shift linkage. New clutch assembly and a new 3:70 posi-traction rear end.
Cosmetic highlights include new period correct black carpet and new black soft top. Quality paint job and finish, with original trim work, door and kick panels. Professional rebuilt and restored gauges (needs new tach cable), clock, radio and speaker. Optioned with Wonderbar radio, sunvisors, windshield washers, courtesy light, heater, Firestone whitewall tires and original hubcaps. Most all factory correct type components including the spare tire, jack, tools, trunk mat, seat belts, shifter, shielding, air cleaner, generator, distributor, spark plug shields, under hood decals, guide Y-50 mirrors, owner’s manual, sales brochure and T-3 headlights. Paint, Chrome and overall condition are excellent.
This Corvette has never been hit, as confirmed by prior owners and restoration professionals. It has won numerous car show awards, most recently placing in its Class at the AutoRama in Salt Lake City Utah.
