1972 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 RS Description

REAL NUMBERS MATCHING 4 SPEED 1972 Z28 RS.

The firewall serial number matches the VIN which matches the fender tag. I have sanded the body to bare metal and then wiped it with Eastwood Metal Wash to show this is a clean ALL metal car. NO ROT. The floor pans and the trunk floor have been professionally replaced and then the under carriage was coated with lizard skin, looks fantastic. ALL other metal original. The sub frame has been restored (painted) as well as the firewall and rear end. All new brakes, seals and suspension have already been installed. I have boxes and bins full of parts for this car (including glass but not the windshield), some new, some new old stock, and some original. This is a period correct car but not the original drive train. The block is casting number 3970010 (high performance 4 bolt main), and the heads are casting number 3973487 (high performance 1971) see pictures. The transmission is a Saginaw but should be a Muncie, luckily Muncies are still available. Car comes with multiple trunk lids, hoods, doors and many more parts than the car needs. It is a console car and that is also in gorgeous condition. This is an original gold color car with black interior. I have many pictures so just ask what you want to see and I may have a picture of it. I will not lay out all the parts and take a picture so don’t ask. DO NOT ask to see every single picture I have, I will not entertain picture collectors. This makes me sound like a jerk but ebay is getting full of dreamers and I don’t have the time for that. Expect to purchase an entire soft interior kit and perform a restoration to build this car; if you can’t wrap your head around this concept, than you have no business even looking at this car. You are starting with a rare solid car which is more than some guys have. I don’t need the money as much as I need the space but I will not give this car away. Rust free examples of these cars (especially numbers matching) are getting harder to come by. I will store this car for years as its value rises before I sell it for pennies so DON’T ask me too.
