1951 Chevrolet Other Pickups Description

This pickup is amazingly well preserved for it's age. Garaged since 1983 when it was last registered. This pickup is original with no dents or body work and no rust anywhere. I installeda new fuel pump, rebuilt carburator, plug, coil, and fuel lines. The engine will turn over but I can't get itto sart? I was told because it was sitting so long it has bad gas so I bought a new gas tank which hasen't been installed yet. I have good compression, good spark, and fuel to the carburator but was told the timing might be off.?? I'm not a mechanic and don't want to pay some untrustworthy mechanichundreds of $$ to get it running for something that might be as simple as timing or what ever.? So I'm selling it as is.This truckhas no bracks? It has the8 lug axels so I think it is a 3/4 ton chasis?I bought a new six volt battery and when connected, the lights,horn, heater and defroster work. Bothdoor windows regulate up and down fine but are cracked. It comes witha replacement grill, outside sun visor and and old thermaster cooler. The doors open and shut tightlike their supposed to. For someone who knows about these old trucks andwith some TLC, it won't take much to get it running and on the road. I do have the title to it and the registration from 1983 when it was last on the road. This is pretty much what I know about this truck,I'm am selling it as is so ask questions before bidding.
