1969 Chevrolet Nova SS Description

Beautiful award winning Hugger orange 69 SS Novaresto-mod. Extremely nice car, not perfect but very close!
- Custom built 505 CI big block. Followed Hot Rod magazines "Howitzer build" on a 4 bolt main 454 block, bored .110 over with Aluminum heads and FAST fuel injection. Dynoed at 627 HP w/610 lbs torque!!
- This big block monster transfers it's awesome power and drivability through a Doug Nash 5 speed transmission and a Hurst shifter that is as smooth as butter! Equipped with line-loc and actuated by button on side of shift handle.
- Rear end handling this power is a 9in Ford w/3:30 gears which makes it perfect for driving on the street in 1st thru 4th gears and cruising down the highway in 5th gear! The rear end has been narrowed approximately 4in. The inner wheels well have been notched a little to accommodatethe tires and also to retain a full back seat for people who are definitelygoing to want a ride in your new killer street machine!! The wheels and tires are 315 35 x 20's with Nitto street drag radials on the back and 205 45 x 17's on the front. Nearly brand new.
-Handling on the car is a breeze with power steering and 4-wheel power disc brakes!
- The interior is a tastefully done custom job while retaining some original parts. The custom console is an excellent touch with all the gauges mounted and working. The car can be equipped with AC as I do have the chrome compressor and billet aluminum bracket and the car is already plumbed with the vents and hoses etc.
-The paint is NEW with only about 150 miles or so and several car shows where it always is the talk of the show. 1969 Hugger Orange was and always will be the color of choice for any Hot Rod Chevy enthusiast. The bright work and glass are also in excellent condition.
-As I stated the car is not perfect, but very, very nice! A few things that need to be done yet are the trunk area which needs detailed and carpeted to look better. Has Battery and fuel cell in the trunk and just needs finished up to the level of the rest of the car. Can be done fairly easily. In my opinion the stereo needs a serious upgrade to match the cars pedigree. A killer sound system could be installed while the trunk is being finished and have the amps and subs etc all hidden. Also not a hard thing to get done. In fact, I can get both of these things done locally by an excellent technician if the buyer would like it TOTALLY finished out when he OR she get's it to them. I will have the car completely detailed if requested by the new owner before it ships.
-Now for the conditions: There is NO warranty written or implied and I encourage anyone to come and see this car in person before you buy. I will make myself available to help in any way I can. A NON-REFUNDABLE $1,000 down payment is due within 48 hrs of close of auction and Full payment is EXPECTED within 7 days of close of auction unless I agree to another condition in writing. Please DO NOT BID unless you have the funds on hand. Any bid over the reserve is considered a binding agreement to purchase and will be treated as such.
-My reserve is very reasonable for a car of this quality, far less than it would take to build this car. I will give it out to you if you call me in person and are a serious buyer. I have a buy it now figure in mind and I reserve the right to end this auction early as the car is also for sale locally. I might consider an interesting trade for the right car or whatever, never hurts to ask, but keep it real.
