This 1959 GMC 100 has been completely taken apart and updated with modern suspension and drivetrain.
All work was completed by Dan Maxwell at Lcc Automotive in Marysville,wa
I was told by the previous owner that he found this truck in Redding California while cleaning out the glovebox a few service receipts were found in the glovebox from the 1980's. I assume it was in California till the early 90's. Because of that the body is in great condition for its age along with the really cool looking patina.
The truck has been clipped in the front with a GM G body frame clip. In the rear Dan installed C notches and a camaro 10 bolt axle with a 3.42 ring and pinion.
All of the wiring has been replaced underneath, in the engine compartment and under the dash.
New dolphin gauges
-The truck has been updated with power steering and power brakes. Discs up front drum out back
-The engine is a fresh chevy 327 with a mild comp cam, aluminum intake, holley 600 carb, HEI ignition, headers, dual 2.5" exhaust with thrush turbo mufflers, chrome pulleys
The transmission is a Turbo 350 with a 2200 stall converter and a b&m stage 1 shift kit
A 2 piece driveshaft has been installed to keep from cutting into the cab for clearance
All glass is in good shape and window regulators are in working order
Overall this truck has been completely restored less being painted and is brand new mechanically, it was built by an established professional shop from start to finish. Its an eye catcher for sure and it runs and drives great! Also with the updated front suspension it handles and feels like a newer pickup.
