1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Description
1971 Monte Carlo triple black. Power windows. Power drivers seat (needs a few parts). blown 468, aluminum heads, Lunati blower cam, roller rockers, 870 Holley Avenger carb, 10:1 compression, low profile Weiand supercharger, 4 speed Muncie trans, new Centerforce clutch, 3.73 12 bolt posi rear end. Hooker headers. New stainless Pypes 3" exhaust. Double adjustable QA1 front coilovers, double adjustable QA1 rear shocks. Tubular A arms, Hotchkis front sway bar and rear frame stiffeners. New powder coated gas tank with internal electric fuel pump and external regulator. Lincoln Mark 8 two speed electric fan (4000 cfm on high speed) and relays for air conditioning. Power windows, orig air condition car but system had been removed. New radiator. New optima yellow top battery. 2-1/2" fiberglass cowl hood and stock oem hood. Body work started, top has some bubbles. Trunk floor needs some repair. New headliner. New retractable front seat belts with shoulder straps. New front tires and wheels, extra pair of wheels and matching tires. This is not a 454 SS car, a previous owner did the badging. Wiring works fine but could use some cleaning up. Runs very strong, no cooling issues. New tie rod ends and drag links. For sale locally, I reserve right to end auction early. Heated garage kept. Oem front springs included as is the Oem steel hood. Needs horn. Headlights, turn signals/hazards, tag light all work. Fuel gauge works. Oem tach and speedometer need to be connected. This is a GM A body and shares many parts with the 64-72 A body.
