1969 Chevrolet Camaro convertible Description

For sale is a 1969 Chevy Camaro convertible project car. Does not run or drive at this time. Car has been off the road since 1993. The car was restored in the 1980's and painted white. The original color is a brown. I added a picture of the cowl tag which shows it's an X11 car. The engine is a 307 with auto powerglide transmission. This is a complete car. Original bill of sale and owners manual included as pictured.
The interior is white and black. Interior is dirty from years of sitting other wise it looksgood. Some of the white panels like seat backs and arm rest are discoloring If you are restoring to show quality the interior wont cut it. Inside the car it has the rallye style dash with tach and clock plus console gauge pack. Am/fm radio, no a/c and power top. There is rot on the dash between the windshield and the speaker area.

Exterior is rough but all parts are easy to get for these cars. Quarters look good but not sure what is under that 80's paint job. Behind the quarters look great as pictured. Left and right side look the same but I couldn't get a good picture . Floors are 90 percent good with one rust spot under rear passenger floor. Rockers are solid with some rust through at front and rear but not terrible. Along the seam where rocker meets floor pan has rust and willneed to be addressed so itdoesn't get worse in years to come. Top is shot but frame is great. Trunk floor has some pin holes but sides are great. Rear panel was replaced and needs it again. Trunk lid is great. Front fenders are trash. Frame rails have surface rust only. There is rot In the fire wall around the seam where top and bottom meet both on the master cylinder side and the far side near heater box. The heat box is rotted as well. The doors have rot underneath so they need new door shells. Plan on replacing all the metal except trunk lid and maybe the front valance. The hood has some surface rust under it but can possibly be saved .
The glass is all decent but the windshield has some scratch marks from the bottom of the wipers.

Car has manual drum brakes all around. Manual windows. NY did not issues titles until 1973 so this car comes with bill of sale and transferable registration car is sold as is. Email with questions . Car can be viewed this week if you like. I can send more pictures if you request them. I don't want anyone to be surprised if you purchase. This car needs total resto. No way you can put a few thousand into it and drive as is.
