1935 Chevrolet 2D Description

This 1935 Chevrolet three-window standard business coupe is as original, unrestored, and never-molested,as you'll ever find. Purchased from the grandson of its original owner, this vehicle has always been stored inside and is close to being 100% complete. Un-driven for many years, the last time it was started was over twenty-five years ago. At that time the radiator and engine block were drained, as was the gas tank. They're still empty and I've not attempted to start it. As you can see, its tires are 1935-era correct as is its original license plate and state vehicle inspection certificate. Body-wise, it appears to be rust and corrosion free throughout. These 1935 GM cars had some wood in the doors and door frames, in the roof, and in the trunk area as well as a wooden divider between the passenger and cargo areas. All the wood in the car is extremely solid and rot-free. The doors open and close crisply and tightly and the original roof cover is still in nice condition and the roof, apparently, leak-free. The hood and the trunk also both open and close smoothly and tightly. Equipped with wire wheels, a spare is mounted on the trunk and another is inside the trunk along with what appears to be this car's original jack. Rubber runningboard covers showsome wear but are still relatively solid. The original chrome bumpers, grille, and headlights are respectable but probably should be re-chromed for show. The interior is intact with the remains of a seat cover on the lower cushion. As you can see, there are tears in the headliner and the door panel interiors are stained. The original dash is still in pretty nicecondition and all original glass is still in place although there is a crack in the center of the windshield. The door windows roll up and down smoothly. In the trunk is a period-correct radiator type heater that may or may not have originally come with this car, no one remembers. Under the hood is complete with no obvious damage; even the original air cleaner is still in place. The mechanical brakes still work well and smoothly. I have both original keys to this car with the original knock-outs. I have no idea what this car is worth but have interest in it since my Dad bought one of these in 1935 and I remember him talking about it. I always wanted one and originally planned to utilize my retirement years restoring this one. Now that I am old I'm not sure I have the energy or time to complete this. I'm testing the waters to see what interest exists for this car and what it's worth. Should anyone have questions I've not answered in this description, please contact me and I will try to answer them for you right away. We have several automobile transport companies in our small city so I can arrange open transport for you. Please view my 100% positive feedback and bid with confidence. Thanks for looking and God bless!
