1986 Chevrolet C-10 Silverado Description
This square body 1986 Chevy C-10 1/2 ton short bed has been professionally built to a show quality level. It was completely disassembled and the body and frame media blasted to bare metal. The frame and suspension were painted in satin black. Only a very small amount of rust was found in the cab corners and was replaced with new metal. After body work and prep it was painted in 2 stage white to show quality standards. No body work was needed in the bed area. Has custom bed cover. The exterior features all new moldings, door handles, fender trim, taillights, headlights and bezels, turn signals, marker lights, grill and new bumpers. The interior is completely restored in the correct Silverado material and pattern including new dash pad, bezels and instrument lenses. It has an AM-FM stereo with 6 pack CD player. All tinted glass is excellent and has a solid rear window. The drive train consists of a fresh 350 V8 with Comp Cam Thumper series cam, Eldelbrock intake and carb, long tube headers run into 2.5 exhaust. The transmission is a freshly rebuilt turbo 350 with a 2500 lockup stall converter. It has power steerin, brakes and air conditioning with new compressor blowing ice cold air. Suspension features a McGaughy 4/6 lowering kit with all new shocks. The wheels are 15" Torq Thrust mags by Rev Wheels with new B.F. Goodrich tires. Truck has been driven about 6,000 miles since build. Everything works and it drives perfectly.
