1956 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Belair Description

1956 CHEVY 210 2DRSDCALIFORNIA CAR ONE Piece Frame. Car was completely REDONE . Just finished this project 2 weeks ago 4/21/2018 . ALL BLACK CAR with BELAIR TRIM . BLACK & WHITE INTERIOR , DelRay (YEAR ONE). All NEW GLAS, FLOOR PANS, INNER & OUTER ROCKER PANELS, TRUNK, ALL EXTERIOR TRIM ( Bumpers, Grill, Tail Lights, Mirrors, Emblems, ALL NEW Exterior & Interior. 16" Steering Wheel ( ORIGINAL ).
Drive Train : Has a 1981 LS6-454 over the counter engine bought in 1981 from Chevy Dealer in California. I have the paper work on Engine from the Dealer . Motor was used in a show car with hardly any miles on it. Trailered all the time. I took this motor & went through it (Doug Holmes) Machine Shop due to sitting a lot not being used . Took bloc, 010 over & installed NEW pistons MAHLE with small dome, Rings, Bearings. soft plugs . Installed NEW COMP CAM
MOTHER THUMPR Hydraulic Roller CAM the smallest version . Installed NEW BRODIX ALUMINUM HEADS about 9.1 CR with EDELBROCK PERFORMER RPM INTAKE MANIFOLD with 850 CFM CARB . Had motor DYNOED @ TOM'S OFFSHORE SHOP in Webster New York. Made 540 HP & 600 FT LBS TORQUE .
Car has TURBO 400 ALL REBUILT w/2800 convertor including ATI : AUTO/MAN KIT Forward Pattern you can just put in Drive and Go or shift it manually .
REAREND done by Dave Rice, Webster New York consisits of spool W/3.73 Gears (32" tall Tires. makes 2200 RPM @ 60 MPH) . Car was built to DRIVE ! Trans shifted w/Lokar muncie looking shifter with lock out muncie style clips. Transmission cooler is piped through BeCool Radiator specific For 1956 CHEVY BIG BLOCK. Electric Fans which are AUTOMATIC ON-OFF with manual switch installed. BeCool 2780 CFM March # 21245 serpentine performance style track system.
Power Steering & Brakes consists of CLASSIC PERFORMANCE SHOW STOPPER HYDRAULIC BRAKE ASSIST along with master cylinder & brake booster assembly part number : Classic Performance - 5564 HBK - SS

Car Body work was all completed using KEVLAR, NO BONDO in car. Body work was performed By: Butch Jakowski of Fulton New York. Car assembled by Richard Benham of Sodus New York.
