1960 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 sport coupe Description

1960 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door hardtop sport coupe - NOT Impala

Please read entire ad before bidding or asking questions. I took the time to write it, the least you can do is take the time to read it. This is not an Impala . It is a rare Bel Air 2 door hardtop Sport Coupe. Body is very solid with some minor bubbling in the lower fenders and rear tail pan. It appears to have 2 piece lower 1/4 panels replaced. Trunk is soli, with only minor surface rust. Worst of the body is the front edge of the hood. I included a picture. A chunk of filler fell off from a previous repair. Outer rockers are solid. Inner rockers have had some repairs. Not perfect but good enough for a driver. Paint is and old faded single stage but it will buff up and shine. I just never got around to it. Someone added Impala quarter trim and spears. Interior is very nice with Black and White pleated seats and matching door panels. Dash is very nice and uncut. It was repainted flat black and Impala lower trim was added. Very nice white headliner and newer black carpet. Car was originally White with turquoise interior. Front end appears to be recently rebuilt with lowering springs and new shocks. It has aftermarket power front disc brakes and power steering. Engine is a stock center bolt 350 with header, 4 barrel carb and hei. Starts and runs good with no noises or smoke. The transmission is a 700r and is STARTING TO SLIP. That is the reason for selling the car. I am selling for my father and he does not have the time or money to address the trans issue. He still drives it to local cruise nights but it starts slipping as soon as you give it anymore than light throttle. Plan on it needing replaced or rebuilt. All of the glass is very nic, no cracks or hazing. One of the rear windows has trouble going down. Appears regulator is stripped. Bumpers and trim are good driver quality. The lower panel under rear bumper is dented on the passenger side. The Wide Whitewall tires and hub caps are NOT included in the sale. It will have 15" steel wheels and thin whitewall tires. It had an aftermarket radio that fit in the factory dash but it wasn't working so I removed it. So there are some wires hanging under the dash. I am not looking to mislead anyone about the condition of this car. Please email any questions. I can supply more photos with my cell phone and text them to you but I have no way to put it on a lif, so undercarriage pictures are limited. Overall this is a solid straight driver quality car. It is not a show car by any means and the price will reflect that. It does need some tlc and the TRANSMISSION IS SLIPPING. My dad has a clear PA title in his name. Title and car will not be released until funds clear. Buyer is responsible for paying and arranging shipping. N, you can not drive it home to Californi, Wyoming or wherever else. I do not have a Buy It Now price but I am willing to listen to offers.
