Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of this Camaro. It started life as factory RS SS car before being purchased by Mr. Alloway. He had a vision unlike anyone else that would deliver one of the sexiest and street worthy cars ever built. The body on this car is straight as an arrow with all the panel fit and gaps being near perfection. It's covered in the Tuxedo Black Paint that has been buffed and polished to a mirror finish that is slick as a ribbon. This being a factory RS SS car it does have the hidden headlights, but they are upgraded to the Detroit Speed Set up. One of the artistic visions that Mr. Alloway brought to life in this car is the Brushed Aluminum accents that you will see through out. You'll notice the meticulous effort that went in to the Bumpers, Window Trim, Side Mirrors, and even the door handles. This Camaro has a look all to its own that is truly breath taking. It follows all the way down to the custom set of Billet Specialty Bonneville Rims with 18's on the front and 20's on the rear. Oh, and just to boot it's sitting on Michelin Tires all the way around.
Next, we will move to the inside of this '67. On the inside you are going to fall in love all over again. Featuring a custom Interior done Steve Holcombe of Pro Auto Custom interior this full cage car has the comforts of a modern luxury vehicle. Featuring the Recaro Seats and Custom Covers you'll be taken back to '67 with the Deluxe interior appearance. However, once you sit down this Camaro takes you right to the 21st Century. Looking at the dash you'll notice the custom set of Classic Instrument Gauges that match the console gauges. You'll also notice the console houses the Five Speed Shifter. Being a full cage car, you would never know it as it has the custom rear bar that is removable so that way the back seat can be fully functional with ease. To finish off the interior you can see that the trunk has been custom done as well with the false bottom for added storage.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevy. Under the hood of this Camaro will take your breath away. From first glance you'll notice more of the Brushed Aluminum Accents that pulls the entire look of this gorgeous '67 together. For power you'll notice you've got a Roller 383/505HP Stroker Motor built by Danny Gordon of Denison TX. This is a 4 Bolt Main 1 Piece Rear Seal Block that was decked and squared. Internally you've got Eagle Crankshaft, with Eagle I Beam Rods and Mahle Forged Flat Top Pistons. This is a full floating rotating assembly that's internally Balanced. It has a Comp Cams 288 Extreme Energy Hydraulic Roller CamShaft. Also, it comes with Edelbrock E Street Aluminum Heads, Defi Hydraulic Roller Lifters, Pioneer Hardened push rods, and Elgin 1.6 Roller Rockers. It's fueled by a Proform 750 Carb with the brushed accented Breather. Simply put, one bad ass engine. Now this 383 is hooked to a Beefed up Tremec 5 Speed that's hooked to the Detroit Speed Narrowed 9" Ford Posi with around a 3.70 gear. Before we get to the Bottom of this Camaro you'll notice to keep it cool it has Steve Long Radiator with a Monster Fan to keep it cool. For options you've got Power Brakes with Four Willwood Drilled and slotted Disc Brakes with 6 Piston Calipers on the front and 4 Piston on the Rear. Also, you have a Woodward Rack and Pinon Steering set up that is Power. For exhaust it has Custom Hand Built Headers with with 2 " Pipes and chambered mufflers. Now that we are here let's touch on this Detroit Speed setup that offers everything you could Imagine. Under the front it has 1 of 2 4" Narrowed Front Subframes from Detroit speed that offers the Tubular Control Arms and of course Coilovers. Outback with the 9" you also have Coilovers with the Detroit Speed Four Link, Pan Bar, and Sway bar.
