1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Bel Air Description

For Sale a Very Period Correct 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air two door hardtop ! This recently came out of the building where it had been in hibernation for many year, it was covered in so much dust and dirt you could barely see it. Just prior to it being put away the motor was done, the Muncie 4-speed M 20 was rebuil, a new clutc, new exhaus, new brakes were all done. It features a 1963 Chevrolet Impala 327–300 hp manual transmission engine, with camelback heads . It also features a bigger ca, aluminum intak, Holley carbureto, Mallory Uni-light ignition, headers, Sun Tach and gauges . It rolls on Vintage Correct Original ET five spoke wheels with good tires . This car is a period correct late 60s to mid 70s Tri-Five Chevrole, from its nosed and decked hood and trunk lid, Pontiac Bucket seat interior with matching black door panel, it screams leave me alone and drive me or take me to a new level .Pluses and minuses.... the overall body features a Good Hoo, Door, Roof and Trunk li, the rear quarters are completely repairabl, as are the front fenders. Both of those panels on both side, will need lower patch panel pieces easily available easily installed. It will need the typical inner and outer rocker’, floor braces and probably some floor work ,that any Chevrolet of this vintage that has not had them done needs. The trunk floor is amazingly good with the spare tire well being perfect. The upper inner wheel houses are both rusted up high as they always do which will repair and there is a spot on the left lower floor much less then you see in most. The rear gutter area from trunk lid to bumper is very nice. The trunk lid is very nice across the lower edge and will be completely useable. The radiator support has been cut as it features a long water pump in this vehicle was originally not a V8 car . All of the stainless on the car is very very good most of it near flawless with the exception of a couple of marks here and there and the two rear window corners are missing. The front bumper Bumperettes and are in the backseat and are included . The bumpers are straight and would rechrome if you chose to do so. This is a complete running driving car not a basket case you are thousands ahead here on this one.The Fuel Injection emblems are interesting to say the least I have no history as to why or how they got on this car . The car is history puts it coming from Ohio years ago and the mileage shown on the registration reflects on the odometer . It is currently has a clear Delaware title however they just exempted it because of its age last month . We just freshened up the fluids, master cylinde, fuel tan, sending unit and steel fuel lin, rubber hoses and more prior to making it roadworthy. All the lights, turn signals and so on work nicely. Even the aftermarket AM/FM cassette radio works. It will need a windshield as it is cracked they are readily available and it will need a left drivers front door glass as it has cracks. The rest of the glass is good and rolls up and down nicely .
This car runs and drives great and will blow the tires up in first and second gear !!!!
