1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Custom Chassis Coil Overs Corvette
1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Bel Air Description
This is your opportunity to get a stellar setup or start for your 1957 Chevy project! Cars with this magnitude of work done to them are the six figure cars you see on TV.
The body work is near done. The firewall is completely shaved. Undercarriage is already painted. All in all it's in excellent shape.Chassis is a very high quality custom build. Origin is unknown, but the quality of metal fabrication work and finish work you can tell someone spent a good chuck of change on it.
Coil overs are Aldrin American.
Brakes are plumed and working. It is a Very large four wheel disc brake system.Front and rear suspension are from a C4 Corvette. The front control arms are mounted directly to the frame, unlike the budget swaps where they run the OEM C4 Cradle.Wheel and tires are from a C5 50th Anniversary Edition Corvette.
The front clip was designed to be a tilt style system. I do have the clip, but the brackets are intended to bolt onto the frame. The frame does not have these holes drilled into it yet. The fenders are cut and mounted to a fixture with the hood with various front end pieces. We do have another 57' in the building with the same system already installed I can display.
The car is being sold as-is where-is. There is simply too many other cars and parts to shift through to piece a complete car together. Any questions regarding missing or extra parts will be neglected unless they where already noted in the listing.
