1952 Chevy 5 window truck 1/2 ton 283 12 bolt clear title dry California truck
1952 Chevrolet Other Pickups Description
You are looking at a 1952 Chevy 5 window truck. It is in good dry non rusty shape. Body is in good shape but truck could use a restoration or get it running and drive it the way it is. The engine is a 283 with a 327 crank and roller rockers, block hugger headers, new Edelbrock intak, and MSD distributer. I do not know what kind of shape the engine is in. I purchased the truck and the engine came with it. I would at least regasket and freshen up but again I don't know what shape its in. Has a newer 12 bolt 6 lug rear end. Not sure of the ratio. The truck is not running and will comes with the engine in and installed with a mockup empty 700R4 tranny just for ease of shipping. Needs steering done, brake system, seats are not bolted in. The bench was stolen hence the rusty chain mark around the back of the cab. The previous owner chained the doors together. Some glass looks new the corner windows are for sure new. New 16" aluminum wheels and Kuhmo tires 6 lug. Comes with 5 lug front hubs seperate. This truck spent most its life in Baker California which is Desert. I was told the original owner was Sante Fe Railroad and then purchased by a gentleman in Bakersfield. Driven for a few years somewhat customized in the 90's and parked in a storage building in the late 90's. It has a clear California title and the rear California license plate and has not been registered since 1998. Also comes with two extra inner fenders. At sometime a big block Chevy was installed in it and the drivers side inner fender well was cut. Has a good dent in the drivers fender. The front clip was off of it when I got it and I put the front clip back on with a few bolts here and there but is not all bolted down. The hood hinges came up missing. I think the previous owner had started a restoration.I don't know what else to add but please ask questions if your interested. It is located in Bakersfield California. Buyer will pay all shipping fees and any transfer of title fees. Again the truck does not run and has to be steered by its front tires. A perfect candidate for a custom 1952 5 widow truck. Save yourself the hassle of replacing a bunch of metal and just start with this sweet pickup. Frame is intact and in great shape. Reserve is very low. If you have a low feedback I will review and decide if your bid will be accepted.
