1987 Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe MATCHING #’s CAR!!!
1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Description
I purchased this 87 Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe from an older gentleman whose family owned it for several years. It is an original equipment vehicle. The body is not all rusted out.At some point, the previous owner did have body work done. However, like most older vehicles, it's not flawless and at some point it will need to have some areas touched up, as shown in pics. It has 107,000 miles, power windows, power locks, 5.0 V8 motor, T tops don't leak, and it is the Aerocoupe edition. They were only made in 1986 & 1987. There were only 6,252 of the Aerocoupes ever produced. You'll be owning 1 of only 6,052 Aerocoupes produced. These were NASCAR homologation cars. Only a portion of those were the black one, so you get the idea...they're not easy to find, especially for a decent amount of money.
It runs good, sounds good, and turns heads.
This is not a fully restored vehicle, but it is, wonderfully, the original equipment. The dash and stereo are original. There are no holes in the console from anyone installing after market stereo equipment.
Selling because I don't have the time to put into it with my work schedule the way it is. I'm going to be as descriptive as possible, not in order to pick it apart, but so that the potential new owner gets a good overall idea on condition.

Hagerty values for this vehicle are:
#1 Concours Pristine Condition - $27,800#2 Excellent - $20,100#3 Good - $15,200#4 Fair - $9,200
This bad boy is definitely way nicer than fair condition! I rarely see these for less than $12-14k on here. This car is so iconic, rare, and fun to drive. I've never been out driving and pulled next up to another one...ever! People in our home town expect to see it in the local parades, especially the July 4th one. Even the kids in your town will come to know you as "the one who owns the Aerocoupe.â€
I've never sold a car on EBay before, but I'm figuring it out. Car will be sold to highest bidder this time. No reserve! Car sold as is and buyer is responsible for shipping. Whether you are you looking for something for your own collection, or something that would be a quick flip with a good profit margin, you may have just found your mark! This vehicle's value will only continue to increase as time goes by. Remember this is not only super rare, it's a super rare numbers matching car!!! Thanks for looking.
