1964 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Description

This is a really great little 4 door automatic Chevy Corvair. It is listed for sale with no reserve! It has a clear open Massachusetts title. This car offers an excellent chance to have a classic car experience for relatively short money with an very presentable little car which is all fixed up and ready to go. This car is quiet and runs great. The vehicle odometer shows 3,788.4 miles and is logically being offered for this sale as having turned over, to therefore actually have covered 103,788.4 miles. (The previous owner had titled and registered this car last year in MA as having 33,471 miles, instead of 103,347.1 miles, apparently misrepresenting the last and different colored tenths digit ".1" on the right side of the odometer, as a whole mile...)
Perhaps you had one off these cute little Corvair sedans in your family sometime within the past 50 years or so and want to relive some memories. This is a car that you can show off at a Cruze nite and also have a lot of fun with it running errands on nice days. This car has a extremely presentable but not quite perfect paint job. It has a very good original interior. The headliner and visors appear to be new. The floors are amazing, especially since this is usually a big concern for these cars over the last 50 years! All the bright metal work is either brand new or looking almost like new! This car shows very well indeed. Check the photos, they show two minor areas of wear on the drivers door interior. The last two photos show some minor blemishes on the bottom of the doors and a tiny quarter inch bump on the top of the right front fender.
There is a nice list of new parts installed by the previous owner including new brake lines, springs, shocks, alternator, new tires, hubcaps, new headlight bezels. The carbs are rebuilt, new fan belt, (with 2 additional spares), spare oil filters, a great running resealed engine, (it does not leak on the driveway!!!). This car was most recently registered and inspected in the Commonwealth of MA. All the lights, wipers, radio, heater fan, cigarette lighter, etc., work. All the windows work, (with some new furry strips installed). This car comes with a factory repair manual and there are additional new parts including such things as new brake shoes and a new transmission modulator. The new radio cost almost $400 alone and it looks original, but has modern features like a blue tooth connection for your phone. I currently have too many cars, but if this one doesn't sell, I am surely going to put it on the road and sell something else.
Please note:
1. car is sold as is, where is, with no warranties expressed or implied. 2. The odometer shows 3,788 miles. The actual mileage is understood, however, to have ":turned over", to therefore actually represent 103,788 miles.3. Any bid from someone with less than 10 feedbacks or showing ANY negative feedback, will be automatically cancelled, unless the seller is contacted in advance, in person and satisfied by the prospective bidder. The seller, at his sole discression, may agree to give perspective bidder permission to bid.4. shipping is the buyers sole responsibility, however the seller will assist in loading.5. Seller does not solicit or need any help in advertising or selling this vehicle...6. Inspections are welcome to be accomplished at a mutually convenient time, however they must logically be accomplished before the auction closes.7. This car must be picked up no later than ten days after auction closes, or otherwise upon prior mutual agreement.8. There will be no over seas sales under any circumstances, unless there is a mutual agreement prior to auction closing regarding payment and a bonded and insured shipping agent relieves seller of all responsibility prior to removing vehicle.
