This is a great looking and driving 1941 Chevrolet AK pickup truck, built in Janesville WI, November 1941.
The engine is the original 216. The title is to the engine number(AD 254795), something Wisconsin did back then.
The truck had a complete repaint 2 years ago in Swift Red and Black.
No rust and straight frame.
All instruments work. (Fuel gauge shows less than full, but drops down as gas is used)
Tilt out windshield fully functional.
Tires have less than 300 miles on them.
All original 6 volt system.
Engine starts and runs great.
Town and County horn option, no interior selector switch.
Rebuilt heater and defroster. NOS switches.
New clutch and throw-out bearing. Flywheel refaced. New pilot bearing.
All brake cylinders new or rebuilt.
New oak bed.
Sun visor comes with the truck. (not installed and needs to be painted)
Original radio in box, needs rebuilding.
The odometer has been changed, so no idea of true reading.
