1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Description

I am offering for sale this 1965 Chevelle 300 2-door wagon. According to my research, this is one of 653 2-door V8 wagons produced for 1965. I do have a clear Ohio title in my name. The title states that the mileage exceeds mechanical limits. The mileage as shown is 6,203. The body tag is present under the hood, but the VIN plate is missing on the A pillar. Therefore, if the successful bidder is not in Ohio, a duplicate VIN plate would need to be made and affixed to the vehicle. This car has been off the road for many years. I have not attempted to start it. The clutch works, and the transmission shifts into gear. The master cylinder is dry, and I do not know the condition of the brakes. The body and floors, as seen in the pictures, are very rusty. The frame, however, appears solid. There are no keys. The car does roll freely.
The body tag information is as follows: 03D, 65-13215EUC, 765-K, W2P3C, 679body, 5W, CCpaint. This translates into a 1965 2-door, 2-seat wagon built in March; final assembly plant Kansas City; body manufactured in Euclid, Ohio; color Ermine White with light Fawn interior.
The V8 motor that is currently in the car has a stamp behind the water pump. The numbers are as follows: 18F20040 and V0402HN.
The transmission patent number is 3088336 and also the number 392556 is stamped above that. This indicates that the transmission is a 4-speed Muncie.
The rear end is a 12-bolt pattern. The stamped number is CF1016B, which indicates that it is a 3.31:1 positrac built on Oct. 16 in Buffalo, NY.
As stated, I do not know the condition of the motor. I checked the dipstick, and it is full of oil. Little information was given to me about this car. I purchased it from the nephew and brother of the deceased long-time owner.
I will not ship. If shipping is required, it will be the sole responsibility of the successful bidder. I can assist with loading on site, and a tractor is available if needed. Two forms of payment will be accepted: cash at pickup or a certified bank check. If paying by check, funds will need to clear my bank before I will release the vehicle. In the past, this has taken up to 10 business days. This auction is for US bidders only. Thanks for your interest. Good luck, and happy bidding.
