1967 Chevelle SS
Real 138 code, factory air, automatic, a barn find. Frame off restoration approximately 2012. I bought the vehicle in progress when the owner lost interest..
Engine: Just rebuilt (April 2018) 396 engine NOM (circa 1966), 360HP, High Performance heads (T1209EF), new period correct original cam profile flat tappet cam, lifters and rods. Block honed and is bored .30 over, polished crank, oil galleys in heads drilled for high flow to top of the motor, Period correct high flow, large bore aluminum intake for the 360 HP motor, new Demon 625CFM carb with electric choke, new aluminum 3 core radiator, HEI ignition, everything new under the hood, too much to list. All new OEM exhaust/hangers and gas tank/lines at the time of the frame off.
Transmission: The SS has a newly built 700R4 transmission with manual valve body, heavy duty clutches and 2100 stall convertor. There are ~ 50 break in/test miles on the motor and transmission.
Suspension: All new components at frame off with IMPI tubular trailing arms, 4 wheel disc brakes (original disc on front), new urethane front/rear bushings and body mounts, ~4:10 posi-traction rear end, new front and rear springs and KYB gas shocks. Front springs are 560LB circle track with 3” brass adjusters to dial in ride height. New front sway bar. New 17” cast aluminum Show wheels with Kumho directional tires, (225/45/17).
AC System: The SS was an AC car from the factory. It has a new Vintage air system with custom electric controls grafted into the dash, replacing the old-style faceplate and cable driven unit, custom split center vent to increase airflow. Heat/cool/defrost. Chrome compressor under the hood. Cools nicely.
Interior Trim: Custom gauge panel, all electric gauges with GPS speedometer input, touch screen input for tach and speedo, turn signals and bright light indicators. Foil backed interior insulation (floor, headliner and doors). All new interior, carpets, seat covers, door panels, headliner, etc. Original console, new clock and shifting mechanism. Comes with original dash with standard speedometer, etc.
Body/Frame: New trunk and rear quarters installed, no other rust found. Body was acid dipped. Frame ground down to bare metal and refinished when new suspension components installed.
Exterior Trim: All new exterior trim, including new windshield glass front/rear. Upgraded headlights.
Paint: Metallic copper basecoat clear coat. Driver quality ;paint but presents nicely. Needs a cut and buff and some minor touch up on hood and along drip rails. Dash, steering wheel and door panels match. Trunk done in the traditional black/aqua splatter.
The radio is a Retrosound Audio (works intermittently). Horns will blow but do not work correctly (all new horns, horn relay, flasher and turn signal block and new OEM style rag joint in steering link) so needs connections checked. Wipers are not functional. New wiper motor and reservoir, but not currently connected. Manuals included for the GPS, electric gauges, Vintage Air and Radio. Car also comes with a quality custom cover.

Mileage
Unless the car is advertised as an original Mileage car do not assume that the Mileage/Odometer reading is the actual mileage. It is simply what the odometer is reading at the time of the pictures. IT IS NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE UNLESS STATED SO IN DESCRIPTION.

All bidders with less than 5 feedback's need to call or their bid is subject to be canceled.
The successful high bidder will submit a $500.00 NON-REFUNDABLE payment deposit with PAYPAL within 24 hours of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle. The remaining balance is to be paid via Bank wire transfer or cash in person within 5 days of auction end. If I do not hear from the buyer within 24 hours of auction end, I reserve the right to relist the vehicle, sell it to the next highest bidder, or sell it otherwise. Shipping is buyer’s responsibility and cost. I can schedule time to be available to assist carrier in loading if it is helpful.
