1962 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Description

Thanks to the no money, no show, never came by to inspect/ take delivery "buyers"..I am relisting my car forthe 4th time. DO NOT bid, make an offer, or waste my time regarding this vehicle if you do not have the money or sincere interest to purchase it. Come and look at itor have someone else look at it for you if you have any reservations or concernsBEFORE winning the car. I will answer any questions you may have to the best of myknowledge. I am not a restorer or paint and body shop. Keep in mind that this car has not "lived" in the dry arizona/california desert for the past 56 years.. I do know that the entire underside of the car was HEAVILY covered in undercoating, which according to the body shop, literally saved the floor pans and rockers. The floor pan tunnel was cut out for a floor shift which was repaired. I was told that no other floor pan/rocker panel work was needed. Lower quarter panels needed the usual rust repair. The roof needed rust repair below the drip rails (upper window channel) as well as the inside of the rear glass "post" (where the roof runs down to the quarter panel). Lower rear of both fenders needed minor rust repair. I asked the body sho, that performed the repairs, to use new metal where possible during the repair process. I'm assuming that they did, although I did not see the finished work prior to priming.

The car is ready for final/minimal blocking before paint. The underside of the hood (New), deck lid, firewall, radiator supportand tie bar, windshield lower grill panel and lower valance panel (New) have been painted GM636 Silver Ice Metallic basecoat/clearcoat.Dash has been painted GM 9260 Victory Red basecoat/clearcoat. The dash has a Dakota Digital gauge package along with new switches. The Chassis has been stripped and powdercoated, and rebuilt with new ball joints, seals, bushings, etc. Rear end is a 3:55 posi unit. New Borgeson power steering box.New California Smoothie 1 pc. Bumpers, New power front disc brakes on 2" dropped spindles. NEWhood hinges/springs,New Rock Valley modified Gas Tank with electric in tank fuel pump for EFI. All of the stainless and aluminumtrim has been restored and polished. New exterior trim (hood and decklid)as well as new emblems, Newgrill and headlight bezels, New Inner Fenders,New interior door handles and window cranks, New exterior door handles and deck lid lock (matching keys for door locks, deck lid, ignition and glove box).Rebuilt windshield wiper motor. New 8 pc glass set (windshield, rear glass, quarter windows, doors and vents).New lower and upper door glass frames,New vent window frames. Vent window housings have been re-chromed.New quarter window upper glass frames. Lower quarter window glass frames have been re-chromed. Bumper brackets, hood latch, fender support rods, emergency brake assembly has been cleaned and painted.Front and rear seat frames (bench front) are included. I do not havethe drive shafts.Car basically needs engine, tranny, radiator, interior, wiring and minor misc. items.. The wheels and tires in the pictures go with the car. I have described the car to the best of my knowledge. I will consider delivering the car to the buyer within a reasonable distance at the buyers expense. I have no interest or time to finish the car, as I am relocating to another state and will have no place to store/keep it.

As I stated previously, the time to ask questions, kick the tires, think about it, is BEFORE placing a bid. If you bid then you BID TO WIN. DO not place a bid if you are not prepared and capable to complete the full transaction within 3 days after winning. Thanks for looking.
