1969 Chevrolet Corvette 976/ZQ4 Description
1969 Chevrolet Corvette: Exterior Color: 976-Le Mans Blue (No GM color production numbers for 1969-4,722 in 1968). Interior: ZQ4-Black Vinyl. Unknown actual mileage. 78,915 miles on odometer.
Frame: No rust in the birdcage, frame, or doors. Original Zinc Chromate Primer still visible. See pictures.
Engine: 1980-85 V8 5.0 liter, GM block #14010201. Rochester Carburetor, Mallory Distributor.
Transmission: Muncie Manual 4 Speed with Hurst shifter.
Paint: Fair. Currently ugly Teal color but original Le Mans Blue car. Needs body work and paint. Has a 1973 front clip. Complete 1969 front clip included (long small block hood, one piece front clip, new left and right inner fender wells, front valances, front bumper, bumperettes, and brackets).
Interior: Fair. All gauges present (only tachometer is hooked up), vinyl seats recovered in velour with 1969 head rests, No rips/tears in the dash, carpet, door panels, or seats (driver side headrest is cracked). Black soft top is complete with a couple of small rips. No radio. Side windows have etched glass....maybe this was a show car at some point?
Regular Production Options: A82-Head Rests, G81-Positraction Rear Axle, M14-Side Mount Exhaust System, 4 Speed Manual Transmission, U69-AM-FM Radio (not in car). No power accessories.
New: Gas tank and sending unit, all four brake calipers, fan clutch, and new exhaust/mufflers from exhaust manifolds to the back.
Aftermarket: Hurst Shifter, Tires are BF Goodrich Radial T/A Rear 255/60/15, Front 235/70/15. Tires are flat spotted from sitting.
Sitting in a garage for the last 11 years. Previous owner said it was an original 427/435 tri power car......no way to confirm without a build sheet....but it does have the rear anti sway bar. Original sidepipe car (brackets present and solid rear lower valance has been cut). Runs and drives well! Starts right up every time. I drive it around the neighborhood every couple of days.
