1976 Chevrolet K10 4x4 Pickup 400 Automatic Tilt A/C

1976 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 Scottsdale Description

For sale is a 1976 Chevrolet K10 pickup. This pickup has been a local truck all of its life and spent the last roughly 10 years sitting next to the previous owners house. The reason it was parked was because the rear rubber fuel lines cracked and broke not letting the fuel pump pull the fuel. I replaced those fuel lines and it ran without issue. This truck has proven to be an excellent runner driver. After the fuel lines were replaced I gave the exterior a real good bath and a quick hand polish, and wiped the inside with some vinyl and plastic cleaner. It could for sure use a complete buff job and better interior cleaning, but i am not trying to hide anything so i will leave that to the next guy.
The Good

• Nice unmolested survivor
• Tilt Wheel
• A/C
• Interior is in great shape except for the common upper dash cracks below the windshield. The seat under the cover seems to be in nice shape pulling up the front edge, i can take the cover completely off if you would like me to investigate it further.
• The inside of the bed is beautiful for a truck that did get used. There are minor dings and paint damage but it is about as straight as you are going to find.
• all 4 hubcaps and trim rings are in great shape
• factory jack still behind the seat
• I believe the mileage to be correct and not yet rolled over 100,000. There is a service card in the glovebox starting from 8/1/90 at 60,261 with oil changes roughly every 3-4k miles until 5/1/96 at 90,200. Sometime in the mid 2000s is when it was parked until i purchased it.
• At 81,292 7/11/94 it is also recorded that the transmission was rebuilt, and as nice as it seems to drive and shift i can believe it.

The Bad

• The body is straight except for the passenger bedside and rocker panel
• Small spot of rust starting in the drivers rocker panel, passenger wheel well, and a little on the back of the firewall.
• It had trim down each side that was in bad shape. I haven't been able to find the correct trim to go back on it, so i have left it off. I do have all 4 aluminum end caps, the fronts are still installed.
• Tires are old, they hold air and it drives good, just a little shimmy from the old tires
• A/C does not work. Everything is there and has not been messed with may just need a recharge.
• Hood has not been creased, but does have the common slight bow to it from the crumple zone.

I would love for anyone to come look at it in person and appreciate how original and clean it really is. If i didn't already have quite a few other trucks i would probably keep this one for myself.
