This car was originally built in the late 90’s, and then completely redone 5 years ago to what you see here. The car uses the stock ’37 Chevy frame, but has been converted to a Mustang II IFS (independent front suspension). It features power rack & pinion steering with power disc front brakes. The motor is a 350 Chevy rebuilt to stock specs but with an aluminum intake and an Edelbrock carb with an electric choke. The ignition is HEI (electronic). Cooling is handled by an aluminum radiator with an electric fan. The transmission is a rebuilt TH350 3 speed automatic. The rear axle is a 10-bolt. The car is geared to hit the highway, and has been on several road trips since it was built. The car has minor chips and scrapes here and there, but is as sharp in person as it is in the pictures. The glass is all new custom made tinted safety glass. The interior and trunk are all finished. The car has lots of legroom and a tilt steering column, so it is comfortable to drive. The driver’s seat is power and works, and both front seats fold forward for backseat access. The body and paint are nice, and the car doesn’t have putty. The underside of the car is also very solid and rust free. The entire car is steel except for the running boards which are fiberglass.
This is a “DONE” car that can be driven home and enjoyed RIGHT NOW!!!!
Reserve is very reasonable……and a bunch less work / time / money than trying to build one from scratch (if you could even find a SOLID car to start with)
I love it the way it looks now, but a change of wheels would completely change the look of the car if you wanted to make it your own
