1962 Chevrolet C-10 350/3SPD Description

CLEAR TITLE!!!! You are bidding on one 1962 C/10 nostalgia rat rod. 350 V8 2BBL Dual Exhaust out of 75 Camaro with Saginaw Manual 3 speed out of 68 Camaro. Always a local NC truck. I purchased it 20 years ago from a local guy who fixed it up back in the day. Solid floors! Truck runs and drives great. Low Gear Rear End, Truck is QUICK and very fun to drive!! I have the matching rear wheel, just needs the bead and valve hole repaired. I have a local guy that can do it, just never got around to it. Shows 42,994 miles, but it's 142,994.
Truck was painted and interior re-done many years ago. Same owner for last 20 years! Recently did alot of freshening up. NEW: Front Brakes (Wheel Cylinders, Shoes and Brake Lines), Brake and Clutch Master Cylinder, Clutch Slave Cylinder, Clutch Slave Line, Gas Tank, Fuel Sending Unit, Battery, Valve Covers and Gaskets (Rubber Fel-Pro), Oil Breather (Edelbrock), Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, Plugs, Air Filter, headlamp Adjusters, Dimmer Switch, EGR Block-Off Plate and Gasket. All fluids changed and Carburetor Rebuilt. Completely re-wired truck using existing wiring and converted to One Wire Alternator.

This is a great truck to cruise or drive daily. Cranks up every time. Will need new tires for daily highway driving. I drive it around the neighborhood and some longer distances within town. Here are the details:
ENGINE: Runs great, no issues. Dual Exhaust. Some seeping at front main seal. EGR Block-Off. 2BBL Rochester. 333882 Head Casting with E9 75 Date Code= Hardened Seats, '71-'76 350/400. 3970014 Block Casting = 350 V8 '70-'76. T0513CMJ Engine Code= Tonawanda May 13th. Not sure of year...but most likely 1975.
TRANSMISSION: 3 Speed Saginaw. Trans Code S8M24= Saginaw, 1968, August 24th. Vin Stamp on pad 18N3181= 1968 Camaro. Shifts fine, Clutch is good. New clutch master and slave cylinder and slave line. Some seeping at front main seal?
REAR AXLE: Not sure on date codes and such, could not find codes, I might try more and see if I can find them, but no funny noises, performs great. I suspect the gear is low, as the truck has ALOT of pickup off the line and accelerates QUICKLY!
INTERIOR: Awesome quilted style. Headliner good. Seat has some wear on driver side of course.
ELECTRICAL: EVERYTHING WORKING. I have not wired up the horn, the horn and wiring is there as well as an aftermarket button. Went through all wiring sanding and making better connections. Converted to One Wire Alternator. The fuel gauge works but the needle has fallen out. Low beam out on one headlight. High beams work fine.
CHASSIS: New front brake system (shoes, wheel cylinders, brake lines and master cylinder). Suspension performs fine. Bushings in upper a-arm on passenger front could stand to be replaced. TIRES are 235/60-15 Front and 275/60-15 rear. They hold air but would need to be replaced if you want to do extended highway driving. I drive it around town with no problems. Front passenger tire has irregular wear and will need to be replaced sooner than later.
BODY: ZERO BONDO except driver rear fender behind wheel at bottom. It does have rust from over the years but no major damage/dents(SEE PHOTOS). Doors, Hood, Tailgate all work great. Bed solid but will need a wood kit. Cab corners actually good. Paint will clean up even better if desired.
Buyer is responsible for shipping, pickup, etc... I can be here to assist in loading.
