1973 Chevrolet Impala Description

FOR SALE: 1973 Chevrolet Impala. One family car, stored indoors for several years. Starts and drives but the carb needs to be rebuilt due to being stored so long. Started and moved under it's own power on 4/23 but there was a small fuel leak due to a failing seal which prevented it from being run more than a short time.
The only modifications to this car are a 4bbl Holly carb & manifold, and a dual exhaust system. Otherwise it is ALL ORIGINAL! Original manifold, carb, air cleaner, and anything else replaced will come with the car in case you want to take it back to stock. Car will also come with a 2nd lower dashboard assembly which has been cut out for an aftermarket rectangular stereo (stock AM radio currently in the car), missing trim, and two spare rims. Car ran and drove good when parked, it was a daily driver until 2002.
The good:
- Almost stock: all original parts on the car or come with the car (except exhaust system)
- Powerful 350 V8
- Power Windows
- A/C
- Well maintained
- Low Mileage! 73,412 miles is correct, odometer has not rolled!
- No major accidents or restorations, clear title. Most bolts last turned by GM!
The bad:
- Extensive rust problems. This car lived most it's live under a Pennsylvania carport and it shows. Rust repair is required, water leaks into the cab due to rust holes.
- Body and trim damage on passenger side.
- Rubber is failing due to age, vehicle can't be driven more than a short distance due to a fuel leak on the carb.
- Tears/cracks on interior
- Windshield cracked
- A/C non-functional due to coolant leak
- Seat belt buckles failing due to age, no functional seatbelts in the front
Restoration required before she's road worthy again. This was a fun car to drive before the seatbelts and water leaks got bad enough that I had to put it in storage. Hoping to find someone who has the time, space, and desire to restore her back to her proper condition! Sold as-is, where-is.
