You are viewing a possibly one of a kind "dealer optioned" pickup-the Buckaroo
It is a 1979 Chevy "BONANZA" 4x4, half ton, it has the following factory options---------tilt wheel, clock, carpet kit, headliner and rare 3.42 gears, also comes with special hood ornament shift knob and a spoke wheels that came with the Buckaroo edition. It comes with the 350 engine and has the automatic with the 205 transfer case. This sold "NEW' in Oregon in 1979 and has been in Eastern Oregon its whole life- It has 0 rust!!
Back in the day dealers were allowed promotional gimmicks to help boost sales, and BONANZA trucks were typically the ones they used -check out the glove box sticker for the buckaroo option.
The odometer read 68000 when I acquired it and I believe those to be the original miles by looking at the seat, pedals, and wear on the carpet and just the overall condition.
I tore down the engine and installed a 300 HP cam replaced all bearings, all gaskets, hoses, fuel pump, plug wires cap, rotor, and most everything that could wear out.
It now has brand new tires and has a complete paint job back the original along with original silver, red, and orange stripe kit.
It now has a little over 75,000 miles on it -have took it on several 200 mile trips.
It runs great everything works as it should, brakes- steering etc.
I hate to let her go but life changes.
Sorry, but due to age of this beautiful pickup it being sold as is, no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied.
Thank You and happy bidding!!!
