1956 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 bel air Description

Selling this 1956 Chevy Bel-Air for my brother. This is an original Kentucky car that had only 22,000 original miles on it. It is an original v8 car with 3 on the tree. All the panels, floors & trunk are original. The front fenders were replaced at some time before he bought the car. He bought this car January 29, 1981. Has been stored and never driven since. Hey, folks... that's 37 years! Doubt you'll find a cleaner, original car out there.
This '56 was painted by Pro Comp Custom out of Pittsburgh, PA. Look them up to see the work that they do.
As you can see, it's not finished but this may just be the best part because it gives you, the new owner, a chance to customize the interior the way that you want it to be.
Here is a list of the parts...
  • 1968 Chevelle 396 325hp
  • 400 Turbo Transmission with B&M Shift Kit
  • 1969 Camaro 12 Bolt Posi Rear End with 4:10 Gears
  • 1982 Hurst Oldsmobile 442 Lightning Rod Shifter
  • Tilt Chrome Steering Column
  • 671 Weiand Blower (est. 700hp)
  • Dual 450 Edelbrock Carbs
  • Griffin Cross Flow Radiator with Electric Fan
  • Candy Apple Red over Green Gold
  • Cream Pearl
  • All new suspension
  • New Front and Rear Tinted (smoked) Windshields
  • Front Disc Brakes
  • 11" Rear Drum Brakes
  • Stainless Brake Lines
  • Painless Wiring Harness
  • 28 Gallon Aluminum Fuel Tank
There hasn't been more than 2 miles driven on it since it's rebuild. Just around the block a couple times.
He has 95% of the parts to finish the car. He has nice, white rear seat and side panels but no door panels. He has the headliner and bows but the headliner needs sewn. He has all the chrome and stainless. Everything was re-chromed except for the front and rear bumpers. The bumpers are nice but should be re-chromed. They are not dinged up or bent. The stainless needs polished up. The front grill would be better replaced than trying to polish up. It needs all of the side glass but the originals are still in it. It needs door felt and rubber for jambs.
