1972 Chevrolet Camaro Description

This is our 1972 Split Bumper Rally Sport Camaro Barn Find Project.

This is a local car here in Bedford, Virginia since new.

This is an original Rally Sport Camaro with its original 350 engine, factory air conditioning, automatic trans with factory consolewith original horse shoe style shifter, power steering, and power disc brakes.

In 1984 this car was wrecked on the passenger side. It damaged the front nose, passenger fender and door. The owner at that time purchased a used door, fender and nose for the car. He bolted on the door and fender and then left the car parked in his garage. The car sat for 34 years untouched. Recently we found the car and purchased it.

I have tickets where the car was taken to Magic City Ford in 1984 and the car was put on a frame machine and it was checked for damage. The car has no frame damage and is ready to be put together.

The motor turns free and should be no problem to get running.

Here is a picture of the car in the garage as we found it. We have a clear Virginia title in hand.

The floors and trunk look super solid and the car is loaded with parts collected over the years.

This is a great car to restore original or make into a pro touring Camaro. The car even still has the original bumper jack dated correctly.

We justhave too many projects going to get to it right now.
