1985 Chevrolet C-10 Custom Deluxe Description
One owner - only 88,000 original miles.
Originally purchased new in March of 1985 at Colonial Chevrolet in Schaumburg, Illinois.
This folks is a fine running 1985 Chevrolet Truck. The truck runs and drives as it did when new in 1985 and is a throw-back good time to drive.
One owner ride, this truck belonged to a friend who had it pArked in his barn since 1993. The truck had been used for work travel in the Circus and Entertainment Industry and was parked when the owner retired and moved to Florida. That owner never had a use for it since and passed away last year. I discovered the truck many years ago and kept an eye on it. Purchased from the widow, it has been re-titles in my name but has not really been out any more than 200 miles since then. What I discovered in that barn was a straight, all original old truck that just needed a little TLC due to lack of use.
This truck had been gone through and many wear and tear parts replaced including:- new rear bumper- new interior including seat upholstery, door panels, vinyl floor, dash pad- new belts, hoses, filters- rebuilt carburetor- new battery- new muffler and tailpipe- new grill- new wiper arms/blades- new chrome side mirrors- new window felt- fresh OEM code paint

Having driven it, here’s what I can tell you. The truck starts on first crank. It runs nicely and is very smooth idling. The truck shifts as it should and goes down the road straight as an arrow. The truck stops great with Mo pulling or pulsing. Body lines are straight and there is no rust on body, roof line or gram structure.
THIS TRUCK RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT.
There are only two flaws worth noting. The area under the battery tray shows a bit of material loss or old rust from battery leakage. The AM radio does not play.
Included with sale is original owners paperwork.
I hate to sell this truck but too many cars and current house projects force sale.

The seat belts are there but the slit in the seat has not been cut for the belts. I think the belts clutter the seat. A razor slice and seat belts can be threaded into the seat. This is a personal preference that can be quickly remedied.
