1972 Chevrolet Nova Description

here we go!!!!! I purchased this nova at a police auction. it was a DUI SEZIURE it so happens the owner was on his way to a car show when he was rear ended by another vehicle and pushed into yet another vehicle. so the owner went to jail and lost his ride. so let this be a lesson don't drink and drive!!! I bought the car to keep for myself possibly [ but I have others as well] I found used OEM front fenders trunk lid and a few other parts. I installed the front fenders and core support along with a new BE COOL aluminum radiator. and have been driving it like it is. it still needs a new quarter panel. I have a stock grill and headlight buckets and a few misc. parts to go with the car. I don't know the specifics on the engine build. it is a small block Chevrolet with dart aluminum heads and best as I can tell a 750 holley carb. I would SAY IT IS 400hp+ I think the trans is a 700r4 and it has posi-trac but not sure of gear ratio. when I first started the car I could smell that it was running on racing fuel. so with that being said the motor is very healthy!! it is manual steering and brakes. interior is in awesome shape. before the car was wrecked I would say it was a $20.000.00 car with all the work that's been done to it. I don't need to sell the car but at the same time I don't need to keep it either. the front fenders that I put on it were rust free with the exception of one rust spot on the driver fender about the size of a half dollar which I had a body shop fix. we are a locally owned used car dealership doing business in the same location for the past 20 years. I have been around muscle cars most of 60 years and their value has sky rocketed. if you looking for a exceptional toy that still needs a little work [ not a complete restoration] then this may be just the car for you. my reserve is very low considering what it would cost to build one like it. please don't bid if you don't already have the funds available to you. or if you have to get permission from your wife first. I have it for sale locally also SO I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION EARLY IF I HAVE A LOCAL BUYER AND THE RESERVE PRICE HASEN'T BEEN MET YET. I require a $500.00 deposit within 48 hours of auction end and remainder of balance due within 7 days of auction ending. I'm more than happy to work with your shipper. if you need xtra time to pick it up I'm fine with that. but car has to be paid for in full within 7 days of auction end. also if you have less than 10 positive feedback you need to contact me before bidding with your intentions or I may cancel your bids. if you have any questions I can be reached at 217-414-1595. with that being said thank you for looking at my car and good luck on bidding.
