1981 Chevrolet C-10 Description

1981 Chevy C10 Short bed pickup
350 V8 with a 4 speed manual with granny gear
Bought this truck with full intensions of restoring and plans have changed. Getting married and need to pay for a wedding! I will try to describe the truck best as possible! Welcome to come look at it before the auction ends.
Truck is located in EAST HAMPTON, CT 06424
LOCAL PICKUP ONLY
Truck started life as a 6 cylinder and is now a V8 that was done by previous owner. True milage is unknown
Truck is pretty rotted. Cab is shot, bed is shot, would make a great yard truck for that sense. Frame is solid from what I've seen. Motor fires up and purrs perfectly. Edlebrock intake manifold, valve covers and air cleaner. Holly Carb. Turbine wheels with decent tires on it ( I have a set of steel wheels that will go with the truck). Clutch was just done on the truck, flywheel resurfaced. Full exhaust put on. Summit headers into a 2 1/4" exhaust with thrush mufflers. Sounds pretty good! (there are a couple extra exhaust pieces that will go with the truck too, they go up over the rear axle so it looks like a factory exhaust. I left it dumped under the bed). With the new headers a bracket has to be made for the power steering pump because the factory manifolds are cast iron and thick instead of the thinner flanges on the new headers. Transmission whines L, 1, 2 then 3rd sounds fine. I do have 2 more transmissions new owner can have. Truck also has a rear end in the back of the truck... Never took it out since I owned it, also going with the truck. Bench seat is just placed in there, maybe 2 bolts holding it in. Previous owner had dodge seats that sat WAY to high in there. No seat belts.
I DO have a title for it. Connecticut does not require titles for vehicles that old, with that being said. I will also provide a Bill of Sale and copy of Registration.
Truck is being sold Where is, AS is. Please come and take a look at the truck if you have questions or concerns.
