1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Pro Street 502-Aluminum Heads-Estate Closing must Sell
1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Description
Please bear with me on the description of this amazing car. It was my late husband's pride and joy. Everything you need to know, the owner of the restoration shop, Resurrection Muscle Cars, is more than happy to speak to you about. The car was painstakingly restored over the past couple years and unfortunately never got to be enjoyed after the interior was completed.
I have just dropped the price by 10g on this. My lawyers are trying to wrap everything up and we need to pay off my husband's final medical bills so we can close the estate. This is an amazing deal for a car like this. This isn't a scam. We just have to finish probate.
There was over $120,000 dollars spent on this beautiful car. It sounds like a rocket. It's a 502, with aluminum heads. It has 650hp right now. It can handle a supercharger which he was going to have put on but never got a chance to, that would bring it to around 1000hp. The interior was just completed in top grain leather, including the trunk, headliner and roll bar. It was only driven home and started enough to keep the engine healthy. It hasn't been used or enjoyed since the interior work was finished. The paint is a gorgeous tri-coat that the pictures can't do justice. There isn't a fisheye, orange peel or blemish on the paint. Not that I can find. It was a very expensive paint job and my husband was meticulous about the result. The leather isn't your run of the mill 'replacement' leather. It is buttery soft, high end leather. The car has a 'secret' switch that you have to know about that has to be flipped in order to start it. It's to help prevent theft. (maybe this is common but I always thought it was really cool)
I apologize for my lack of knowledge on the other mechanical stuff. I have 89g worth of receipts here alone, not counting the cost of the car. If interested please message me and I'd be happy to speak with you and put you in touch with Resurrection Muscle Cars' owner. He knows the car inside and out and is more than happy to help me with the sale of this as he knows how difficult this is for me. I apologize the pictures aren't the most professional. I did the best I could. It is obviously garage kept. It is even shinier and more gorgeous when freshly washed/waxed but I'm too afraid to do it myself and far too scared to drive it anywhere.
It does have a nice car cover that of course I'll include. It was 2-300 dollars, I can't remember. I bought it for him as a gift. I know it's not much but it's just a nice added something that I forgot to mention. It has a felt or fleece lining, something soft that helps protect the paint. (again, I'm sorry, doing the best I can here) Oh, there is also a brand new extra part in the garage that I'm assuming is for this, although I can't promise. It has red and blue ends on it that look like some of the other stuff in the engine of this. This part is from Red Horse Performance called a 'holley 4500 dual feed fuel line kit blue/red'. I looked it up. It's $112 dollars. Again, not a huge deal but of course if it turns out it goes to this, I'll put it in the car. There are also two cans of racing fuel that I will put with the car if I'm allowed. I don't know how that works. But I know it's expensive and I don't need them. The car doesn't have to run on racing fuel (it was NEVER raced) but I guess it 'can' be used in it. It was barely driven after the exterior restoration and never driven after the interior. If my husband put a 100 miles on it after the exterior restoration, I'd be shocked. I think he drove it to the gym twice and to 3 local car shows. It's basically been in restoration the rest of the time.
Please note-this car needs to be shipped if not local. This isn't a car you just drive cross country. It is pro-street and while of course it *is* drivable I would not expect to drive this from Florida to Minnesota if I were you. I just feel better mentioning that, although I'm sure most 'car' guys know that.
Someone who is looking for their dream car, is in luck. This needs a good home where it can be driven and get the attention it deserves. Or someone who knows how to list and describe a car better than me can turn around and sell this and make themselves quite a bit of money.
