VIN# vc56n023567
This vehicle has but only 1900 miles on the complete restoration. It would take many months and $40-50k dollars to replicate.
Overall this vehicle is very nice condition, turns alot of heads. It starts, runs, drives, and shifts just as it should while giving above factory performance through an upgraded power plant, power disc brakes, transmission, carb, headers, flowmaster dual exhaust, aluminum wheels, and more.
Exterior:
The outside/undercarraige of this car was fully refinished. The paint is what I would call B+/A-quality. Its not flawless but it is very nice and of good quality and finish overall. All of the chrome on the car is completely redone and is beautiful. The original paint on the car was code 700-D which denotes adobe beight/sierra gold however this car was redone in the703 codeNassau Blue/Harbor Blue (inverted however). The wheels and tires are in flawless shape. The car has been stored in a climate controlled garage for the past 2-3 years. The tires are good and have thousands of miles more life, not dry either. The undercarraige is clean and rust free as well and the car will come with a custom car cover as well!
Interior:
The interior was completely refinished and reupolstered, additionally was completely protected in fabric plastic. So the next owner can uncover if he/she so wishes a brand new interior seats and door panels that have not been exposed to the elements. The dash and all instrumentation was replaced and refinished. Looks just like it did off the factory floor when new. The carpets and floor mats are new, moisture remediation bags were kept inside the car to minimize any musty odors. Everything works, all gauges, lights, ect.
Mechanical:
The engine was replaced by a GM 350. Serial V0502PJJ.
Motor was rebuilt, lots of polished/chrome parts added from valve covers, alternator, intake, radiator, ect. Speedway headers were mated to a full Flowmaster exhaust system. This car sounds as good as it looks. All new rear end, suspension, hydraulic disc brakes, full transmission rebuild (Chevy 350), and more completed. The car does not have power steering but manual.Get in and drive this beauty trouble free for years to come. Everything done was with reliability in mind. Rear End is a 9" w/3.73's.
Overall this 56' Bel Air is a quality builtcar that was meant to be driven. It turns head and brings you back to what a classic Chevy meant. Car gets many compliments and people stopping to discuss.
