1969 CHEVROLET BISCAYNE 2 DOOR SEDAN
1969 Chevrolet Biscayne Description
1969 CHEVROLET BISCAYNE 2 DOOR SEDAN
I have owned this car for over 20 years. It is powered by a Mark IV 502 c.i. big block, 442 HP 513 FT lbs of torque. I purchased this engine brand new from the local Chevy Dealer in 1994....installed it in the Biscayne and have not put 300 miles on it since new. The frame was removed, sandblasted & rebuilt w/new front power discs. 12 bolt Positraction rebuilt with 3.55 ratio and quick ratio power steering. The body has 80k original miles with a mint original black bench interior. Has vintage Sun Super tach and gauges. Floors are absolutely original and rust free, as is trunk floor. Only rust is in lower rear corner of rear wheel wells....smaller than 3" diameter. Doors are original & perfect. Front fenders are N.O.S. Car has original window sticker, owner's manual and dealer envelope. Was a 327 originally, sold new at Cooley Chevrolet in New Haven, CT. Engine has Hooker Super Comp headers, 750 CFM Holley, Accel HEI distributor, 6 qt. oil pan, Harrison 4 core radiator. Transmission is a B & M unit, TH400. Hole Shot 2400 converter and Stage II shift kit. Rear tires are Goodyear 15" street legal slicks mounted on vintage 8 1/2" wide 5 spoke Torque Thrust American alloy wheels. Keep in mind that this car's engine has only 300 miles on it since I built it over 20 years ago. Car drives exceptional....best described as a "Bear". Have video of doing hole shots....
