1992 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Description

1992 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - 5 Speed!
Great car - I have had this car since 2005 and it has only been driven in the summer since I've owned it. The car had approximately 109,000 when I bought it - pretty low miles considering the age.
The 305ci (5.0L) engine is great - a lot of torque off the line. It always start right up - no problems. Rare for a 3rd Gen Camaro, the 5 speed shifts smoothly and the clutch feels great.
With a 2 year old and a second on the way this winter, I unfortunately have to part with the car. I don't have the time to enjoy it as I would like - only ~350 miles this year...
The Good:- Car was restored and repainted in 2013. The original color was teal (same as now), but I added the charcoal rally stripes. I painted out a lot of the trim in teal. - I added KONI sport (yellow) shocks and Eibach springs last summer. The car feels really planted.- New tires and new brakes last summer. ~1000 miles on them.- Stick shift makes the car a lot of fun to drive. - Flowmaster cat back exhaust installed in 2007. Heddman headers and a new catalytic converter installed in 2013. The car sounds great.- New radio installed in 2013 - Kenwood KDC-X597. It's nice to be able to listen to music / podcasts from your phone via usb / bluetooth. I added new Kenwood speakers and a Kenwood KAC-8405 60Wx4 Amplifier - I haven't dialed the whole thing in yet, but sounds good. - New Dashpad installed.- Wheels are OEM, but are primered. It looks good with the rally stripes and gray interior, but can be painted if desired.
The Not-so-Good:- Steering leather is ripped at the top. I have a refurbished replacement from Hawk's Third Gen (see photo), but I have not yet had it installed.- Small bubble in paint on roof where it meets B pillar (see photo)- Small scratch on front bumper - a victim of a curb outside CVS. (see photo)- Carpet is cut in the rear seat - there is a small seam that is glued back together. (see photo)- Door locks are very, very stiff and therefore I don't use them. Not a big deal for how I use the car, but maybe it is for you.- Windows can overextend, not an issue if you pay attention to their position when putting them up.

All in all, it's a great car with many, many more years and miles left to be enjoyed. Let me know if you have any questions.
