1971 Chevrolet Corvette Description

You are looking at and considering bidding on a 1971 corvette convertible project car. I rescued this car app. 15 years ago from a shop that had abandoned this project as it was sitting in the corner untouched for many years. I don't know much about the history on this car but by looking at it this is what i can tell you........Car must have been wrecked at one time and someone started to fix it by putting a cowl section in......the body was cut across the floor in front of the seats and sectioned in....look at pics and you can see the section across the floor and rockers...rockers are welded but the floor needs to be finished..bonded and some fiberglass work. The frame is very solid, i don't see any rot in the places they usually have it, but i can see a repair on the right front rail near idler arm area that needs some welding and cosmetic work to correct it.....it's not that bad, just trying to be as honest as possible. The left door is original but the right door has been changed and is a power door as the original is manual. The left side quarter panel was cut off for some unknown reason...i have the piece but i would get a new or better one to replace it. The front clip is an original 71 clip that is just laying in place....not bolted or bonded on.The engine is not original but looks correct from that era...i was told it ran but that was a very long time ago.It looks very complete and maybe with the right care taking it will run again.Car is a automatic with p/s p/b and a/c. Look at pics very very good...If you don't see it i don't have it..Many Many parts missing,this is how i acquired it. Car appears to be a blue car with blue interior, but the trim tag in the door jam is missing. Car has a clean N J title...any questions call or text Bill 201 988 4222
