Every blemish on the car is shown close-up and in direct sunlight. - Blue paint really glows in sunlight. Excellent color, but the paint isn't perfect. You'll see it in the video, but there are a few spots of fade, as well as a handful of touched-up chips. Non original color, the car was originally white. - Glass and light lenses are all clear and crack-free. - Black powered top is in great shape; opens and closes without a fuss. - Wheels are in nice shape, with no significant curb rash or damage. Chrome rings show no oxidation. Tires are in nice shape as well. DOT: MDRV PKLR. Interior: - Original blue vinyl interior is in really nice shape. No punctures, scuffs, or discoloring on the seats both in front and rear. Only very slight signs of age. - Blue carpeting is nice as well, much like the rest of the interior. No significant stains or anything of the sort. Door panels are much of the same...very nice, no kicked-open markings or real signs of age. - Gauges are all functional, including the odometer, which reads 60,262 miles. We cannot be sure of exact original miles, but the odometer does tick. - Radio is functional. Under the Hood / Underbody: - Engine is a correct 164ci Flat-6 with 4 Rochester carbs, engine number T033IRG. Transmission is a 4spd manual, also correct. - The car runs and drives extremely well. Fires right up, idles quiet, cool, and steady, and accelerates without any hesitation. The car sounds fantastic. There's nothing quite like a flat-6 exhaust note. The clutch feels great, great pickup, shifts are nice and smooth. The car tracks straight down the road, steering is nice and direct. It's nicely sorted from a mechanical standpoint. - The car will come with the original shop manual, owner's guide, and a handful of service receipts. Nothing too major in the receipts folder, minor items like valve cover gaskets, fuel tank sending unit, and two new coil springs. - Please take a look through the underbody photos, as it's documented in detail. Underbody looks quite good. Very much structurally sound and well presented. We often see rust in the corners of the front trunk of these cars, not here. This front trunk is mint. Overall, this is a mechanically-sorted, ready-to-enjoy Corvair Corsa convertible. A truly awesome summertime cruiser.
