Additional information I forgot to mention during initial listing. The wheels and center caps are authentic GM, center caps are also one year only Nova SS for 1973 and hard to find.
Tires were replaced about 18 months ago and are not dry rotted, they are original size and have maybe a 100 miles of wear on them.
The oil pressure gauge, speedometer, high beams, head lights, marker lamps tachometer, fuel gauge, dash lights are all functional also. Shift indicator is not connected but original shifter works great.
Power steering and smog pump do not have a belt on them, smog pump will not turn. Also have original distributor (points with coil)and heat shields for plugs. I have also installed aftermarket GM style HEI electronic ignition distributor and new starter for reliability. New wiper motor and heater core also installed with new hoses.
Original disc brake equipment still in front, bearings checked, greased and new brake hoses installed with reproduction booster and master cylinder. Power brakes functional and bleed does not pull to one side. Back pads were fine when checked and functional.
Car has original buckets and cloth seats, needs new foam and cloth.
Also checked all suspension mounting points, they are solid and not rusted out. Shocks and springs appear all original. Fuel tank removed and cleaned, new sending unit, fuel pump and lines. Fuel gauge is functional also on center console.
Installed reproduction GM ignition lock, column lock functional and turn signals, may still have functional key warning buzzer. Trunk lock replaced to match ignition key.
I have added some frame/chassis section photos where I took steel wool and brushed components to see extent of surface rust under vehicle (very minimal for a 45 year old car) Only real rust is in exterior sheet metal at bottom of quarter panels (see photos) All frame and suspension mounting points are solid. All shocks and suspension are in place.
